Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. 5★ to them! Only complaint was my rice came cold. And me and my girlfriend were seated in a far corner behind the bar. In the middle of the afternoon.. worth a shot though

Bring cash. Food ok, but asked us to pay a $197 bill in cash because a credit card would have charged them 4%. They didn't say anything to the customer paying ahead us with a credit card ($40). Good luck with the cash thing. Not going back.

Half order of nachos was $9+. Full order was $15. We drove from Des Moines, and don't pay that at most of our bar/restaurants! Plus, It was mediocre come at best. And they gave us paper plates to use!

From the word go, this place was horrid! The greeting staff, what a joke! (There was none!) We ordered 2 salad bars and neither plate got eaten because it was so disgusting! How do you mess up a salad??? When I had asked the waiter what was on the salad bar, his response was "A variety of things" so I figured that's what I would get my one year old to eat because she loves salad and things. Welllllll there was salad, and two other salad options...big let down! After eating over an hour for food, I received my sub COLD..well some of the meat was warm. I was then cold it was a cold sub and it needed time to cool down. Excuse me?????? So the waiter said this in the most rude sassy was possible! NEVER AGAIN AND I WOULDN'T SUGGEST ANYONE GIVING IT A TRY EITHER!

Peaceful and lots of things to see/look at. The beer menu is a bit primitive and the seating is cozy

If I could give 0 stars I would! This place is horrible! Food is over cooked, looks like it has been sitting for days! Owner was yelling at employees because she brought our over cooked food back. Asked for rare and got well done. Hollendaus sauce was very curd like. Waitress was very friendly and apologized for our food. We are now enjoying our McDonald's! I highly urge you to think before going to this place!

The food was ok. I was a little disappointed. A lot of hype for the quality. Not very clean.

Sent steak back two times. Cook couldn't do medium rare. Salad bar seemed as if it were yesterday's salad. Against my better judgment I had the salad bar(we were starving). I spent the next two days in misery. We will never return.

Had very friendly service. Commonly checked up on us as we ate and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fast and satisfactory and at a reasonable price. Very nice little restaurant! I also enjoyed the interesting decor and dollar bills taped to the walls. Creative!

Good food and a nice salad bar. Plus it's one of only two restaurants in town that have outdoor seating.

It's a little dark inside but the food was excellent. Service was acceptable. It was slow when I went at 4:45 p.m.

Mediocre. I had the prime rib, my husband the seafood alfredo. The sauce was very bland for the alfredo. The Prime rib was over cooked. The salad bar was okay. The cottage cheese could have been fresher, but it wasn't horrible. The wild rice was very good. If that was made fresh, the chef hit that spot on.

Horrible establishment, dollar bills taped everywhere, everything was dirty and covered in a layer of dust, and the food was terrible, on the bright side at least it was hot...all in all i wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone

Really bad service. 1 waitress for the whole restaurant, took forever to order, get our food and in the ending even our bill. Not originally from here but will not come back and will not recommend it.

This has always been 1 of my favorite restaurants in Storm Lake since they opened. It was years ago before I moved to Atlanta, GA and now that I've moved back it still is 1 of my favs. I suggest getting their prime rib dip sandwich (Professor & Mary Ann might be the menu name?) I love their fries and their salads are always nice crispy and fresh. Service has always been great, the ambience is nice too. It's a neat little lake themed place. I hope it never closes or I will be limited where I get to go when the family finally agrees to go out to eat. Usually reservations are not needed but then again we eat later lunches and dinners then most. So it might not hurt to call ahead to be sure, I have been by there and it's looked busy. I have 1 recommendation to the owner and that is to upload a menu online. I think they will get more business if people see the many varieties of food they offer. It's not your typical boring same old food establishment like so many others in the area.

Poor service! Lazy workers closed an hour early after I drove 45 minutes to get there because they wanted to go out and drink or whatever! Lazy young waitresses!

Not a bad little spot with some good food. Almost an on the beach atmosphere.

The food was pretty good. My one big complaint is that the staff was unprofessional. The hostess was on her phone discussing her weekend activities and apologizing for them.

When ever we come back home. We try to come and eat to have the Buffalo wings. We ask for the hottest Buffalo wings they can make. When we lived in the area it was one of our favorite places to hang out with everyone from the Moose Radio station Team.

Loved the stake cooked just right the vegies were excellent
